Gear made a powerful impact on my body in just 20 minutes of treatment.  Anything we can do to support lymphatic flow will improve health and a sense of well-being, as well as, risk of chronic diseases and chronic pain conditions."  Dr. Pleau

GROUNDING GEAR HELPS PROMOTE HEALING

new arrivals

Grounding Gear is the soothing practice of applying specially designed compression packs to areas of the body to increase lymph flow, therapeutic rhythm, mobility and relaxation.  Practicing applying these packs can decrease pain, stress and inflammation in the body all  while returning the body to a calmer, more balanced state.

As our bodies age or become injured, our balance, muscular structure and fluid flow is crucial to maintain and promote healing. Increasing lymphatic fluid flow through our bodies actually activates our natural immune cells, calms the nervous system, and promotes homeostasis in the body.

Patients are encouraged to work with their massage therapists, physical therapists or other medical practitioners to assist with modifications and achieving optimal health results while using the Grounding Gear technique.

If your practitioner is not familiar with Grounding Gear please encourage them to contact us for more information and training.

This practice is not recommended for patients who have DVT, are undergoing chemotherapy, radiation or are pregnant.

"I use these packs on my massage patients regularly to quickly get them to the relaxing parasympathetic state and increase lymph flow which is critical to maintain physical and mental well being.  Grounding Gear is also used therapeutically by lengthening and strengthening muscles, as well as, decreasing soreness and inflammation.   It is a simple concept with so many options for so many people."  Stephanie McBride, MS, LMT
